Over Five Decades of Service
Since 1965, the Littlest Angel Guild has dedicated our volunteer efforts to support awareness, needs and the vision of CHOC Children's.
Mission: To nurture, advance and protect the health and well-being of children.
We raise funds that will enable the hospital's vision. We are proud of our achievements - funding three oncology rooms in the Bill Holmes Tower, established an endowment and contributed to purchasing life-saving equipment.
Our Endowment continues the work of CHOC and in 2015 the Guild made a two year $200,000 commitment for CHOC's Pediatric and Young Adult Mental Health Services. Any added funds raised are pledged to support the Emergency Transport Team's and continue their life-saving work.
Thank you to our members, patrons, and anyone that attended our events. You have made a difference in the lives of children!
For 50 years, the Guild has raised funds to support the mission of CHOC Children's and we are honored to be one of CHOC's Miracle Makers and have made contributions of over $5.5 million.
Donations have funded the growth and development of community outreach programs, hospital facilities and free clinics.
Highlights of donations for the past 10 years...
In 2006-2013, we established our Endowment and raised funds for Pediatric ICU and Oncology Rooms at CHOC. With your support we have helped to equip three rooms on the 5th floor of the Bill Holmes Tower that opened in February 2013.
In 2014-15, our Guild contributed to the endowment we established in 2006. This endowment is among those that help to ensure the future of CHOC. The Guild has also pledged a portion of our funds to support CHOC's Emergency Transport Team. The team that provides life-saving care to the Children of CHOC.
In 2015-2017 we made a two year pledge of $200,000 to benefit CHOC's Pedriatric and Young Adult Mental Health Services Unit.
