The Mission of the Littlest Angel Guild is to support CHOC Children's hospital to provide high-quality care to children regardless of their family's ability to pay. The Guild's role is to increase the community's awareness of CHOC Children's and is one of 11 Guilds serving the CHOC Foundation.
The Guild is a group of women dedicated to children and service to the community. We join the Guild knowing as a group we are able to accomplish much more than as individuals.
The results of the dedication of past and present members is evidenced by our Guild receiving recognition as CHOC Miracle Makers for our over $5 million in donations and contributions. There are still more children to care for and more families to help.
We volunteer our time and talents to raise money for CHOC Children's. By example we strive to foster an understanding and awareness of the needs of CHOC Children's and the over 230,000 children that are treated annually.
For many, the hospital has touched our lives, caring for our children, our families, neighbors and friends. We invite you to join a very special group of people who have chosen to make a difference in children's lives. In 2009-2012, we successfully completed our pledge for Oncology Rooms.
Our most recent pledge is an Oncology Room in the Bill Holmes Tower that opened earlier this year.
One of our newest members, Stephanie's daughter, Angela, was cared for in a room similar to the ones we help to fund (see photos in right hand column).
We welcome your interest in joining our Guild. Please print Membership Form , mail to the address provided, and we will contact you.
At our March 2014 General meeting, Dr. Jason Knight, who is one of Orange County's Top Docs, spoke to the Guild membership on the life saving work the Trauma Team does for CHOC. In 2014, a portion of our proceeds will go toward the Trauma Unit and a life-saving monitor.
